The Kiwanis Club of Anacortes Foundation has awarded hundreds of scholarships and over $900,000 to high school seniors, trade or vocational school students and returning college students since 1978.   The scholarships are based on several factors including community involvement, financial need, and a strong potential to succeed academically in college.  Awarding these scholarships to deserving students is just one of the many programs Kiwanis has established for the youth in our community.  The Kiwanis Thrift Shop which is supported by many volunteers and the donations from the Anacortes community,  is the major contributor to these scholarships.

The Kiwanis Club of  Anacortes Foundation partners with the Anacortes Schools Foundation for our scholarships.  All applications will now be processed through ASF.  Scholarship applications will only be available through ASF ( or a link on the Kiwanis website ( from noon Monday, March 15, 2021  through noon Friday, April 30, 2021.  This will give you plenty of time to prepare all the information you need to compile.

Thank you,
The Scholarship Committee
