Applications may be hand delivered to the Kiwanis Shop at the address below OR to the Career Counseling Office at the High School anytime they are open BUT no later than 6:00 pm on March 9.

Estimated Family Contribution is what the U.S. Department of Education calculates what your family is able to contribute to your education based on income, taxes, educational costs, etc.. Many colleges require the EFC for students applying for scholarships. It is done nationally and the forms can be obtained on the NET. Go to the US Department of Education site
There you will choose FAFSA start. The FAFSA page will guide you through the EFC application process.

Please answer all the following questions in essay form. The answers MUST be printed in order to be considered. (Please no handwritten essays!) The answers to ALL (not each of) the questions below should NOT EXCEED 700 WORDS.

1. What are your educational/career goals?
2. How do you spend your time outside of school excluding work?
3. Describe your volunteer activities.
4. What financial preparations have YOU made toward paying for your own school expenses? (jobs, savings, etc.)
5. Please provide an estimated detailed cost statement based on school of choice for next year. (books, tuition, board, miscellaneous expenses)
6. What do you consider the most important problem the country faces right now? How could you help in correcting this situation?
