Health

Human Services

Public & Societal Benefit

Special emphasis is placed on Education & Human Services in the Anacortes community.

Application Guidelines:

With the exception of student scholarship, the Foundation does not provide funding to individuals.   Any organization seeking support must be an IRS 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, a Washington State nonprofit agency, a public agency, a unit of government, or a group seeking/receiving funding under the umbrella of a 501(c)(3) foundation.

The Foundation does not consider requests by individuals from within or on behalf of the Anacortes School District.   All ASD requests must be processed through the district.

Prior funding from the Foundation is no guarantee of subsequent support.

Selection Process:

Grant applications are accepted throughout the year.    Each application meeting the above Guidelines is review by the Foundation Board with awards predicated on relative merit of the proposal, funds available and the dictates of the Kiwanis Noon Club membership.    Funding for approved requests may occur later in the Foundation fiscal year which ends in September.  Requests marked “Time Critical” may be given expedited consideration provided that the early need for funds is clear in the application.
